THE BAKKEN

NORTH DAKOTA

Located in Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota, the Bakken Shale ranks as one of the largest oil & gas developments in the United States over the past 40 years. As of June 2015, The Bakken Shale play ranks second to Texas in terms of oil production.

POWER RIVER BASIN

WYOMING

Extending across southeastern Montana and northeastern Wyoming, The Powder River Basin is best known for its coal and coalbed methane deposits. This area was one of the fastest-growing oil and gas producing regions during the first part of 2014.

DJ BASIN

COLORADO

The Niobrara-DJ Basin is in northeast Colorado and southwest Wyoming. The core of the DJ Basin sits in Weld County, Colorado and has become the state’s major natural gas producer in 2015, according to the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

THE SCOOP & STACK

OKLAHOMA

Located within the Anadarko Basin, this region has seen a large upswing in activity since 2012 as the basin sits adjacent to assets located in the Woodford basin area. This basin has been defined as one of the thickest and best quality reserve shale reservoirs in the county.

DELAWARE & PERMIAN BASINS

TEXAS & NEW MEXICO

Found within west Texas and southeast New Mexico, the Permain basin consists of several exclusive sub-basins, each with unique characteristics. According to the Texas Railroad Commission, this basin still has resources to be extracted exceeding what has been produced during the last 90 years of production.
